Contemplate the big picture that these numbers represent. .
US is 5% of the world's population and uses 20% of the world's oil production every day.
Europe is 10% of the world's population and uses 20% of the world's oil production every day.
Within 3,000 miles of China's coast, over 1/2 of the world's population resides. In China, 70 out of 1,000 people have a car. By 2030 they are expecting that number to be 210 out of 1,000. Right now, China is the world's largest importer of oil......and they don't have near enough reserves to meet their demand.
Biggest producers:
Russia
US
Saudi Arabia
Biggest users:
US........pumps 13 mbpd......uses 20 mbpd
Europe....pumps a minuscule amount per day......uses 20 mbpd
China.......pumps around 5 mbpd.......uses 13 mbpd
India........ZERO oil reserves
Japan.......ZERO oil reserves
Russia.......pumps around 12 million barrels a day......uses 7 mbpd
Saudi Arabia.......pumps around 12 mbpd.......uses 6 mbpd
As you can see, things are pretty precarious in the oil world, to say the least.
Now you know why we invaded Iraq. Now you know why we are in Syria. Now you know why we want Iran. Now you know why we are pressuring Russia. Now you know why we tolerate Saudi's bullshit.
20 million barrels a day........any drop in that and we collapse economically. It is a matter of national security and our matrix way of life.
Will we risk nuclear war with Russia to get theirs?
